Masterworks Chorus Season 47 came to a spectacular close:
What a season! In December, the Chorus sang the holiday favorite, Handel's Messiah, twice and received standing ovations. On April 12 the Chorus, along with guest ballerinas, pianists, percussionists and youth choirs, presented Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. It was a tremendous success with calls to repeat it next year. To launch our 48th season, on October 18, we will collaborate with four other choruses to bring to you a uplifting concert celebrating America's 250 year anniversary. At 4pm, 250 voices will raise to celebrate Unity, Love and Brotherhood at Dreyfoos Hall in the Kravis Center.
As this season draws to a close, Masterworks thanks Corporate Sponsor, CIBC Private Wealth for their generous support.

Masterworks Chorus is delighted to sing under the baton of our talented new Artistic Director
Everyone agrees- Bryan Anthony Ijames, D.M.A. expertly led the Chorus through his first season...
Bryan comes with an extensive music and choral resume and is currently Assistant Professor of Music Education & Associate Director of Choral Activities at Bower School of Music - Florida Gulf Coast University. We enjoyed an innovative and entertaining 47th season with such an accomplished leader at the helm.
Community Outreach
As our commitment to the community, we'll continue to participate in outreach projects like Collaborative Sing-alongs and Make Music Day. Look for even greater collaboration with other area choruses and musicians. Based on the success of this year's Make Music Day (40 performers at multiple venues across the County), June 21, 2026 will be the next Make Music Day with an even bigger set of entertaining events.
