2019/2020 SEASON

The Masterworks Chorus is proud to announce the concert lineup for its 41st season. Starting off the year will again be two performances of Messiah.

Messiah

Celebrate the holidays with exquisite music unparalleled in popularity – G.F. Handel’s immortal masterpiece Messiah. The music is a moving musical experience, elevating the soul and enriching our lives. It features such familiar pieces as And the Glory of the Lord, For Unto Us a Child is Born, Worthy is the Lamb, and of course, the thrilling Hallelujah chorus. The work comforts us through its familiarity and thrills us with the joy of rediscovery each time we hear it. Accompanying the 80-voice chorus will be a superb 20-piece orchestra and stellar guest soloists.

A Musical World Showcase

The Masterworks Chorus presents favorite music from all corners of the globe. Some tunes you may recognize, others will surprise and delight you with their catchy melodies and infectious rhythms. It’s an entertaining and delightful afternoon concert everyone is sure to enjoy.

Faure’s Requiem

The chorus’ final concert in its 41st season features Gabrielle Faure’s Requiem. This exquisite and beloved masterpiece will include a professional orchestra, guest soloists and the 80-voice Masterworks Chorus in a stunning and not-to-be missed performance.
